Exposure Controls/Personal Protection
【Personal Protection】Eyes: Wear safety glasses and chemical ggles if splashing is possible. Wear appropriate protective eyeglasses or chemical safety ggles as described by OSHA's eye and face protection regulations in 29 CFR 1910.133 or European Standard EN166. Skin: Wear appropriate protective gloves and clothing to prevent skin exposure. Wear appropriate gloves to prevent skin exposure. Clothing: Wear a chemical apron. Wear appropriate protective clothing to minimize contact with skin. Wear appropriate clothing to prevent skin exposure.
【Respirators】Wear a NIOSH/MSHA or European Standard EN 149 approved full-facepiece airline respirator in the positive pressure mode with emergency escape provisions. Follow the OSHA respirator regulations found in 29CFR 1910.134 or European Standard EN 149. Always use a NIOSH or European Standard EN 149 approved respirator when necessary.
Fire Fighting Measures
【Flash Point】115℃
【Fire Fighting】Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear. Strong oxidizer. Contact with combustible materials may cause a fire. During a fire, irritating and highly toxic gases may be generated by thermal decomposition or combustion. Use water with caution and in flooding amounts. To extinguish fire, use water, dry chemical, chemical foam, or alcohol-resistant foam. Contact professional fire-fighters immediately.
【Fire Potential】Flammable/combustible material. May be ignited by friction, heat, sparks or flames.
Accidental Release Measures
【Small spills/leaks】Absorb spill with inert material, (e.g., dry sand or earth), then place into a chemical waste container. Clean up spills immediately, using the appropriate protective equipment. Sweep up, then place into a suitable container for disposal. Remove all sources of ignition. In case of spill, sweep up solid or absorb liquid with inert material, then place into a biohazard container. Wear protective equipment.
Stability and Reactivity
【Incompatibilities】Reducing agents.
【Stability】Stable under normal shipping and handling conditions. Stable under normal temperatures and pressures.
【Decomposition】Nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, irritating and toxic fumes and gases, carbon dioxide, nitrogen.
【Combustion Products】Fire may produce irritating and/or toxic gases.
